Project founder Jon Mueller is an integral member of Justin Vernon's Volcano Choir (and before that, Collections of Colonies of Bees), while William Ryan Fritchhas worked with names as diverse and respected as Sole and DM Stith. It is undoubtedly the most expansive and powerful record I have ever been a part of, and the thousands of hours spent bringing it to fruition over the last two and a half years profoundly reshaped me as an artist and composer.

Ensemble comes packaged as a deluxe 16pp hardback full color book with a 140 gm LP mastered by Jeff Lipton and Maria Rice at Peerless Mastering. Annie Silverstein's excellent short film Skunk has won the Cinéfondation Selection 1st prize at Cannes 2014. It was a joy to get to work on the music for it and make a score that emerged from the sounds of cicadas and the sweltering environment where it was filmed.
